The entrance to Terracina's port, like all canal ports, is often closed with a bar. Annoying, perhaps, but nothing compared to the problems you could have on approaching the neighbouring, and bigger to boot, port of San Felice Circeo, where entering the port is so complicated that you are advised to contact the local "compamare" (Click here to see an illustration).
